Qualifications Framework Courses

Community Green Academy firmly believes that every frontline worker is a key driver of sustainable development in Hong Kong. To support this mission, the Academy has designed and launched Level 1 and Level 2 Certificate courses recognized under the Qualifications Framework (QF).

These courses aim to provide professional environmental knowledge and practical skills to practitioners in property management, cleaning services, and the catering industry—helping them enhance their career value and lead companies toward a greener future.

Certificate in Green Estate Waste Management Practices (QF Level 2)

Foundation Certificate in Food Waste Reduction for Catering Industry (QF Level 1)

• Understand local environmental and hygiene-related regulations

• Learn and apply basic knowledge and techniques in municipal solid waste management to assist supervisors in executing relevant workflows in estates

• Recognize the roles of estate environmental working groups and apply learned knowledge and skills in similar settings to help promote source reduction activities

Certificate in Organic

Farming Skills (QF Level 2)

• Understand the concept, characteristics, and development of organic farming in Hong Kong

• Learn fundamental theories and practical knowledge of farming

• Master organic farming techniques and correctly apply them according to soil conditions

• Recognize the basic operations of organic farms in Hong Kong

• Grasp basic knowledge of food saving and food waste

• Identify various sources of potential food waste in the catering industry

• Assist in reducing pre- and post-consumer food waste under guidance or instructions

• Implement food waste management guidelines in familiar working environments

This is an “Official” and “Core” course related to “Qualification Accreditation” under the CPD Scheme of the Property Management Services Authority. Holders of Property Management Practitioner Licence may receive a maximum of 20 CPD hours by participating in the course.
